I have brown skin, does my skin really need sun protection?
YES, girl! YES!

I know, they told us that we don't burn and thus don't have to worry about the sun. They said that sunscreen is for white folks but I assure you that they were uninformed sis. They just didn't know.

For so long darker complexions have been left out of the dermatology sunscreen conversation leading to (you guessed it) late detection, late treatment, and as a result, poor outcomes when skin cancer and other skin diseases are finally detected.

Sun protection, even on a gloomy day, is essential because the sun's UV rays are so strong they penetrate the clouds. Sun damage is very real and can affect anyone.

Sun damage can include age spots, liver spots, freckles, rough skin, uneven skin tone, and dry skin.  Let's take the time to learn and protect our body's largest organ, our skin.

Prevention is just as important, if not more, than treatment. Wear that sunscreen and use products with sun protecting ingredients like our Daily Fruit Balancing Face Oil and Daily Greens Moisturizing Cream.
